Oxygen Media is a multiplatform entertainment brand that delivers relevant and engaging content to young women who like to "live out loud." Oxygen is rewriting the rulebook for women's media by changing how the world sees entertainment from a young woman's point of view and they just signed Susie as their on-air personality!

Susie's new role at Oxygen involves engaging consumers and building brand awareness, providing coverage of all things relevant to young women in pop-culture and participating in multiple social media initiatives for the network. Former Miss USAs Against Animal Cruelty

click image to enlargeSusie joins fellow Miss USA pageant winners Shandi Finnessey (2004), Alyssa Campanella (2011) and Shanna Moakler (1995) in a jaw-dropping new ad for PETA—shot by famed photographer Fadil Berisha—in a united effort to urge the pageant industry to do away with fur.

Every year, millions of animals—including foxes, minks, raccoons, rabbits, chinchillas, and even cats and dogs—are electrocuted, beaten, drowned, strangled, and skinned alive.

Despite knowing about the horrors that animals go through to make fur coats, some pageants still award furs to winners.

Check out their exclusive interview with PETA to find out why they chose to do the ad and check out the article on PETAs website as well:

The 2012 NFL Women's Apparel Campaign

Susie was thrilled to be a part of the campaign for the 2012 NFL Women's Apparel line, and even more thrilled to represent her New England Patriots! The campaign is set to launch soon, so be on the look-out for TV commercials, magazine ads, newspaper articles (see here and here), billboards and much more!

The women of the NFL are more than wives, girlfriends, mothers, sisters, daughters; they are part of the team! They are just as dedicated to the game as their men and know that fandom doesn’t only come around when their team is on the field. They have pride 24/7, 365; through the winning seasons and the not-so-winning seasons. They watch every game religiously, cheer from the stands, coach from the couch and stick to their superstitions. They love their team during the off-season and during bye-weeks, at the gym and at the office. Women of the NFL are the biggest fans of all. They breathe, live, and wear football, and they make it look good."

Amen to that! Check out her pics from the shoot below. She had the honor of modeling with Olympic Gold Medalist, Summer Sanders!

Susie's Book, "Confidence Is Queen"!

In this every-girl's-guide-for-life, Susie Castillo illustrates how to become the most confident, positive, and beautiful you. MTV VJ, face of Neutrogena and former Miss USA, Susie Castillo, knows first-hand what it takes to get the most out of life: confidence! She learned this through her greatest victories as well as through her greatest challenges. From detractors who felt she would never amount to anything, to her father who left her and her family when she was only six years old, it would have been very easy for Susie to feel discouraged and insecure.

But her resilient mother taught Susie the power of positive thinking that led to her confidence, earning her a crown and a dream-come-true. Today, that positive thinking has become a way of life for Susie, and in this revealing and inspirational book, she pinpoints the areas of life you need to address to build your confidence, and the four keys to unleashing your ultimate beauty. Learn how to:

- Identify and effectively develop your spirituality

- Discover and embrace your relationships

- Take control of your health and body image

- Believe in your dreams and make them a reality

In Confidence Is Queen, Susie illustrates just how to incorporate these four keys into your life and become the most confident, positive, and beautiful you.
