Being the designer on the show is a dream come true! Along with my fellow team members/hosts Kym WhitleyJacob Soboroff and Tom Stroup, I will tackle the daunting task of renovating some of our nation's most dilapidated schools.

You have the ability to travel, you are articulate, and know about the world. I am sorry that you had a negative experience with travel.
Have you served in the Armed forces? I do not believe that you have.
Have you talked to Ted Nugent who runs Triple 7 ranch in Texas. He takes in wounded veterans, Young military people and has them stay at his ranch. These vets are maimed by the freedom that they tried to protect.
MY view is such...
Have me strip naked, interview me, WHATEVER it takes but I will always protect the right to have FREE commerce to TRAVEL. Most people do not have the money to fly and travel and they join the military for what they belive in..FREEDOM ..... TO PROTECT OUR FREEDOM..
Have you forgotten the many dead, dying and wounded vets? Inteview them , then get back with me...
The PRICE OF FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.. The blood of or forfathers stained the ground... FOR US.
Have a blessed day and fight for causes that make a difference.
Military veteran and protector of our freedom

Dear Anna,

Thank you for your comments but I'm troubled and confused by your last line, "..fight for causes that make a difference." Is fighting for our Constitutional rights and freedom not worthy to you? As a military veteran, I assume not.

To answer your question, yes, I have talked to dozens of our brothers and sisters in the military and know more about the history of our country and government than you think I do. The year I was Miss USA I worked extensively with the USO traveling all over our country and even went on a tour to Korea where I met so many wounded young men and women. It is because of your sacrifice and theirs that I am so vocal about the TSA. You risked your life for our freedom and liberties just so our own government could take it away? As I was being interviewed by Meredith Viera on the Today Show about this subject, all I could think of was the thousands of our dead, wounded, and traumatized brothers and sisters in the military who put their lives on the line fighting for our freedom while civilians just throw it away to the TSA at airports. That's unacceptable to me! Especially when talking to an FBI agent in the anti-terrorism department, I was told that the TSA is a "joke and waste of money" FBI AGENT AND EXPERT ON TERRORISM!

I've researched a ton on both sides of the coin, traveled to Washington DC and talked to security experts who called the TSA "security theater", and read literature by radiation experts with regards to the full body scanners. I've written two blog post that I encourage you to read: "Why Everyone Should Opt-Out Of The Airport Body Scanners" parts 1 & 2. I stand by my word and have no regrets about further bringing this issue to light and educating others. My point is simple...there HAS to be a better way to screen passengers. There're are other options that our government has not tried that are less invasive and have proven to be more effective. The truth is, the government cannot protect us. Do you know how many international flights (incoming to the USA) I've been on where passengers don't even have to remove their shoes? No violating "pat-downs", no expensive/wasteful full-body scanners...just the metal detectors and wands. There are hundreds of these flights everyday coming into the US and guess what, nothing has happened.

Many blessings,
