Mango Smoothie
It's smoothie time! If you've been following me on Instagram, you already know that I love experimenting with recipes and have been sharing my creations using #SuzEats (Note: the chicken dish under the hashtag isn't mine! I'm vegetarian.) for years now.
My smoothies are no exception! I have a smoothie almost every day as my first meal of the day, actually. I typically wake up and have at least one glass of water, ginger tea with lemon, and when I get hungry, usually around lunchtime, I make a smoothie. It's quick to make so it's perfect for days when I'm on-the-go. My smoothies are deliciously satisfying and very filling so it's truly a perfect meal replacement.
For all the moms out there trying to get their kiddos to eat more fruits, smoothies are an excellent way to do that! My younger sister has a fussy 1 year-old, Trystan, who doesn't want to eat mushy foods so feeding him bananas, avocados, etc was out of the question until she started making him smoothies. She didn't want Trystan to miss out on the great nutrition that avocados and bananas provide so she just blended them up with almond milk and guess who's eating all his mushy, healthy foods now? ...Our sweet, Trystan! I told my sister that she could even add spinach in there and he wouldn't even notice but will get all the fiber and nutrients. It's a win win!
Feel free to do the same with this yummy smoothie recipe. Add as much or as little of each ingredient as you'd like and make it your own!

Blend, pour into glasses, and enjoy! FYI, if you're looking to make more smoothies these days, I highly recommend you invest in a Vitamix blender like mine. It's one of the best kitchen purchases we've made in our house and we have no regrets! In addition to smoothies, I make dressings, sauces, and even soups in my Vitamix! You can now shop my blender and all my favorite kitchen gadgets on my Amazon Influencer Page.
Lots of love,
